From Marina d`Trarafal Guesthouse we offer you a variety of activities connected to the culture and local tradition. Always in touch with nature and fauna. From mountains to the sea you can enjoy the beauty of the place and its people.
Snorkeling
From the beach or by boat you can enjoy snorkeling. We have free equipment for our guests and we also rent them to any Tarrafal visitors.
We organize boat trips, guided by local fishermen. You can visit beautiful corners of the crystalline water coast, where you can practice snorkeling.

Trekking
In Tarrafal you can enjoy several options for trekking. Hiking to Monte Trigo or Curralinho volcano, explore the valley and its agriculture. These activities have no cost, unless you request a companion or a guide.
We will provide you with all the necessary information and for some of them a small guide map.
Kayaking
You can enjoy kayaking in the bay of Tarrafal. We have kayaking for one or two people. Our kayaks are high-end, they comply with all EEC regulations. Its comfort and stability make it suitable for all people, everybody, beginners and experts.

Traditional fishing
Share a traditional fishing day with local fishermen. Join the crew in they daily routine, participate in hand line fishing.

Kayak Fishing
Pioneers in Cape Verde, with the collaboration of Galaxy Kayak and advice from Peskayak.com we open a new orizon for lovers of this modality.

For fishing lovers, we invite you to share a day or a week of fishing on the T-LÚ.
You can practice your preferred modality or start in our techniques, it will be an exchange of knowledge, stories and experiences where the point of union between different cultures will be the sea and the goal to enjoy fishing.
Catch and release
Maritime Taxi / Boat trips
We organize, boat trips and maritime taxi.
We take you or pick you up in MonteTrigo, enjoy the bay and nearby coast in search of surprises, with a bit of luck you can observe mantas, dolphins, turtles, seabirds … these activities are carried out from traditional fishing boats.

Fishing from the shore
Tarrafal is protected from the prevailing wind in Cape Verde, an advantage that favors fishing from the shore, you can find sand, rocky bottoms, reef …
A variety of depths a few meters from the shore, that allows you to fish a different species.
Perfect to practice, rockfishing, surfcasting and light or heavy spinnig.
These activities have no cost, unless you request a companion or a guide.
We will provide you with all the necessary information and for some of them a small orientation map.
Diving Center
At 150 m. from Marina d`Trarafal you can find the diving center, (P.A.D.I.), which organizes different types of immersions for all levels. New and quality material, supervised and accompanied by professionals with a long experience in diving. Prices from 50 €, to be confirmed with the dive center, type of dive / price .
